OCMA-500 light source wavelength used is 3.4 ~ 3.5μm. The right two graphs represent (1) oil and (2) S-316 absorption spectrum. All kinds of visible oil substance are in a wavelength range of 3.4μm to 3.5μm significant absorption, S-316 and the extractant no absorption in this range. Thus, if in this wavelength detection, can accurately detect all the oil has been extracted, S-316 does not interfere with the extraction agent.
